Every autumn the Orchestra has toured internationally, throughout Europe and North and Latin America. In addition it was invited to Expo. 02 the Swiss Natioanal Exhibition in Morat in August 2002, and to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January 2003, where the Orchestra gave a concert for 1000 delegates who attended the Conference.
In October/November 2003 the Orchestra undertook a five-city tour of Europe, which included James Levine's conducting debut in Moscow (October 27), concerts in Munich, Paris, Lucerne, Basel followed by their first visit to Asia. The five-city Asian tour saw the Orchestra in Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong and Bombay conducted by Charles Dutoit (November 7 - 17).
