Claudio Vandelli, conductor and clarinet player, has performed in the last years in important venues such as Berlin Philharmonie, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Teatro Regio in Turin, Palais des Festivals in Cannes, Prince Rainier Palace in Monte-Carlo, the Pope Summer Residence in Castel Gandolfo. From 1990 to 1997 he worked with the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra in France, responsible for recruitment and as assistant and invited conductor. He contributed for two years to the development of the AVS Virtual Audio Standard, an innovative three-dimensional sound recording and reproducing technique, appreciated worldwide. He has been working on the UBS Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra project since its beginning, in April 1999.
